Centraction and the Environment
At Centraction, we take our environmental responsibilities to heart. Our machines are environmentally friendly in every moment of their life. Upon construction, polluting materials are excluded, such as PVC. During the lacquering, no solvents are used and the paint is TGIC-free. Under their use, our machines consume less energy, particularly if they are equipped with a frequency inverter. Many years later, when it is time to retire them after a hard working life, at least 95% of their materials can be recycled.
All our products are certified CE, meaning that they have met EU consumer safety, health and/or environmental requirements. We also follow the European directive of RoHS, the European EMC and Low Voltage directives and the European Community Regulation of REACH. Additionally, a manual with easy-to-follow instructions and descriptive pictures is always included. You will also find the ATEX certification on our machines. They fulfill the requirements of ATEX zone 22. If they are not equipped with any electronic equipment, they are also suitable for ATEX zone 21.
Research and Development is an important activity as we thrive to improve our products, be it to enhance their performance, facilitate their use or even minimize their impact on the environment. In order to be more efficient in environmental matters, we are adapting our R&D activities to the European directive Ecodesign.
